Ola AlZawati has received the Best Leader Award from the King Abdullah II Center for Excellence in Government Performance and Transparency, as well as the American Society for Quality Award ASQ- Senior Level for the Middle East and the Region 2007. In 2020, she won the Distinguished Woman in Industry and Academia Award from the International Organization for Operation Research (IEOM).

Ola holds a PhD. in Engineering and Engineering Management from the University of Sharjah, with a focus on business excellence of Government Excellence Models and decision-making. She holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering in performance and results management.

Ola has 24 years of practical experience in public sector management reforms, having worked as a corporate excellence expert in Dubai Municipality, a monitoring and evaluation expert in the public fiscal reform, and as an accreditation director in Jordan Institution for Standards and Metrology.

Her experience includes strategy development, services and process improvements; performance management, audits and assessment of quality awards; governance, sustainability and accountability; public sector compliance including accreditation, certification and inspection, auditing and quality improvements, project management; innovation assessment and quality awards assessment and management.

She has several internationally published papers and has conducted several training courses in the fields of innovation, excellence, total quality management, and performance management. She has also worked as consultant and assessor for various regional and international institutions such as UNDP, USAID, GIZ, UAE.
