The Feasibility Study and Work Plan for Establishment of the Highland Water Forum Financing Structure (HWFS) project was funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) in close cooperation with the Ministry of Water and Irrigation (MWI) and the Highland Water Forum (HWF) initiative.
The Energy Assessments in the Jordanian Water Supply System’s objective was to provide specialized technical and economic consultancy services to improve the energy efficiency of well-fields, pumping stations and booster stations for the domestic water supply in Jordan. Furthermore, it was the objective of the consulting services to support the strategic development of an energy efficient water sector in Jordan by preparing a development concept.
The USAID funded Hydroponic Green Farming Initiative (HGFI) program is a three year program that aims to introduce an integrated model of hydroponic farming tied with renewable energy generation in large-commercial farms and small rural households. This integrated system will promote water conservation and clean energy use in the hydroponic system, all while increasing agricultural livelihoods.
The Government of Jordan recognizes that the procurement and subsequent management of Government property is in need of significant improvement. This project provided support and assistance to the Government and the Executive Privatization Commission in assessing the feasibility of delivering New Government Accommodation buildings through Public Private Partnership. The study completed technical, financial and regulatory assessments of the projects, and recommended the most suitable PPP structure for implementation.

ECO Consult was contracted by the United Sates Agency for International Development (USAID) funded program Aqaba Community and Economic Development Program implemented by AECOM to undertake this study that aimed at assisting the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) in diagnosing the status quo for the existing business environment in Aqaba through collection of qualitative and quantitative baseline data related to existing businesses in order to understand the economic factors and conditions within the Aqaba Special Economic Zone and business establishment process.
ECO Consult was contracted by the United States Agency for International Developmnet (USAID) funded five years program Aqaba Community and Economic Development program (ACED) to review ASEZA’S scholarship program within Aqaba’s labor force needs for the coming ten years, and identify how the scholarship program could address these needs by recommending improvements. ECO Consult completed an analysis of existing studies and documentations on workforce skills gap, education and training needs for major sectors in the Zone taking into consideration gender issues.
ECO Consult was commissioned by the Local Governance Development Program, a two years Millennium Challenge Corporation funded project that was administered by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), to conduct feasibility studies for eight potential municipal Public Private Partnership projects in eight municipalities. The tasks included conducting market and feasibility studies to test the viability of the proposed projects and delineate strengths and weaknesses.
Bearing Point was contracted by Mafraq Development Corporation (MDC) to provide advisory services to support the development of Irbid Development Area (IDA). ECO Consult was subcontracted by Bearing Point to assess the potential for the Professional Services sectors to generate demand for investment within the IDA. Sectors that were assessed included consulting, architecture and engineering, accounting and auditing, media and advertising, and legal firms.
ECO Consult was contracted by Charles River Associates to provide a demand analysis and tariff study for the water sector in Saudi Arabia. This assignment was part of a feasibility study for the establishment of a private sector funded integrated water and power plant (IWPP). The assignment involved collection of data on water supply and demand, both for the Kingdom and the province under investigation.
ADC contracted Bearing Point to provide advisory services to support its management in achieving its objectives and mandate. ECO Consult was subcontracted by Bearing Point through the course of this program to lead several assignments related to strategies and operations, planning, and implementation of projects.
