Being a multi-skilled leader with a proven track record in general management within service-focused environments throughout the Middle East, Yara possesses over 20 years of experience in process design for water, wastewater treatment and desalination plants, tendering, procurement, engineering management, business development, and project management.

As a key project manager at ECO Consult, Yara is currently managing the Iraq Horticulture Development Project. Her responsibilities on this project include managing a team of technical experts, overseeing project implementation, decision-making, and sharing policy insights on the horticulture sector in Iraq.

As part of her acquired experience, Yara has applied a client-focused orientation, a resourceful approach, and a proactive management style, all of which have been crucial in large-scale projects, as well as in leading and motivating cross-functional teams. Yara holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Jordan.
