Project Description:

The Government of Jordan embarked on a strategy to attract Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) in various sectors to develop its infrastructure and enhance the efficiency and quality of the services provided to its citizens.

The Al-Azraq Omari road is a 48 Kms highway with two lanes and is in need of rehabilitation and expansion, particularly because it connects Jordan with Saudi borders.

Services Provided: 

ECO Consult worked with Halcrow International Partnership on the assessment of the project suitability for implementation through PPP by completing a financial analysis of the project implementation options and assessing the PPP models for implementation. ECO Consult also supported all activities related to local project coordination, data collection, and interaction with client and project stakeholders.
