Project Description: 

The Government of Jordan through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) adopted the request for Expression of Interest approach to develop renewable energy projects for electricity generation by the private sector, where applicants were requested to submit Direct Proposals including credentials and capability statements within a specific timeframe.

The consortium of ECO Consult and Fichtner was hired by the Ministry to provide technical, financial and legal advisory services to assist the Government in evaluating and negotiating the received applications for pre-qualification of private sector developers in renewable energy projects.

Provided Services: 

• Provided technical, financial and legal advisory services to the Government for pre-qualification of private sector developers in renewable energy projects.
• Provided advisory services to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources during signing of the MOU agreements with qualified private developers and the proposals evaluation phase.
