Project Description: 

Working with Citrus Partners Limited (UK), ECO Consult conducted the Environmental Impact Assessment Study for the El-Lajoun Oil Shale and Mining Project in Jordan. The work covered consultations with relevant and affected stakeholders including civil society groups, NGOs and academia.

Provided Services:

We conducted the scoping session for the project and developed the Terms of Reference for the study and the Environmental Management Plan. The study included provision of technical expertise in baseline characterization and impact analysis related to archaeology, social assessment, ecology, hydrogeology, agronomy, and air quality.
