Project Description:

Engevix contracted Environmental Resources Management (ERM) to undertake an analysis of environmental, socioeconomics, infrastructure and legal aspects of the Wadi Maghar Oil Shale Project and identify possible flaws and red flags that could jeopardize the progress of the Project.

Provided Services:

ERM subcontracted ECO Consult to assist in the study and provide an overview of environmental permitting constraints, environmental and socio-economic sensitivities, key infrastructure constraints and supplier costs, and recommendations for studies that would take forward Project planning and implementation. Project partners included the Jordan Natural Resources Authority (NRA), Petrobras, and Total.
