We were honored to have the Dutch ambassador to Iraq, H.E. Michel Rentenaar visit the first project site under the Iraq Horticulture Development Program (IHD) on February 25 in Erbil.

During the visit, the IHD team and our implementing farmer took the Ambassador on a tour showing him the project site and revealing the technologies to be implemented. IHD will assist in building a climate-smart and innovative greenhouse in Erbil specialized in producing tomatoes and sweet peppers. The high-tech greenhouse will include climate control units to monitor heat and humidity and an advanced fertigation unit.
