USAID/Jordan appointed DAI and ECO Consult to conduct a programmatic review of the evolution of water management policies in Jordan in the past decade, focusing on the factors that most contributed to positive change and other donors’ role in creating positive changes.
Based on the findings of the review and assessment, the consortium provided recommendations for a new strategy for USAID Jordan on the basis of this evaluation, including key goals and objectives, methodological approaches, the proposed balance between infrastructure and institutional work, external constraints to sectoral success, and recommendations that address objectives of USAID Forward and related USAID policy reforms.
