During her one-day virtual visit to Jordan, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, H.E. Ms. Sigrid Kaag reaffirmed her country’s continued support and close partnership with Jordan.

Jordan is running out of water. The arid country has limited rainfall and a population that has doubled in the last 20 years, reaching over 10 million today. In 2019, it was ranked the fifth most water-stressed country in the world by the World Resources Institute.
